      Definitely. Think of it like this.

      Imagine you are in a train station and in the foyer people are rushing at different speeds in different directions trying all of different sizes and with different destinations.

      There are going to be bumps, bangs and shouts between all as their is little control and everyone thinks that they are the most important.

      Once autonomous vehicles (AV) are all communicating together and are aware of the ‘order of things’ then the are able to work in harmony. However if you throw in someone who isn’t on the same ‘system’ crashes are more likely to happen. This is why AV have been, in some cases, crashing into non-AV in testing phase
