I use technology and put it out on the road and motorway networks. Some equipment automatically sets the signals to warn drivers that there is a crash ahead and they should slow down. CCTV allows people in the control centre to see broken down vehicles and get the police on the scene, preventing them from harm. Our Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems allow the police to track criminals and reduce/protect members of the public.

So the work we do does help people out on our roads.

If I do my work right, more people buy our folding bikes. That helps people in 2 main ways; it means more people doing exercise than using the car/train/bus, which helps their health, and it means less emissions of gases like CO2 from cars etc because of people cycling instead, which helps improve global warming and air quality.
