  It has gone from very slow computers relying on humans to drive them to fully autonomous vehicles, systems and procedures.

  We used to be limited by what was possible with the materials & manufacture methods & computing available. Now we can basically make anything given enough money and energy and time. But the amount of stuff we all own and use has exploded, and it’s not sustainable I don’t think. The limit now isn’t “can we make it?” but “why should we make it?”
