• Question: if your have a certain grade level how much does it effect you being an engineer?

      I think it may at the beginning BUT once you focus, you can at any stage increase your grades. Its all about how you are taught and the effort you put in.

      If you are trying your best then at an interview your commitment may be more attractive to a business than your qualifications grades.

      Your grades at GCSE /A level/Btec etc help open up the next doorway to the next opportunity. Similarly if you do a degree for a while after you graduate people want to know if you got a 1st or 2:1. But once you have secured some experience people become more interested in that, they want to know you can do the job and have kept on learning skills even after your formal education finished
