• Question: What do you thing abut the Engineering Industry? Do you think it is doing well at the moment?

      Its fantastic! The government is releasing a lot of money into making this country better with HS2, nuclear power, road networks etc. but also overseas it is very very active too! Pick a career in engineering 🙂

      It is doing really well currently. There was a downturn a few years ago that you may have heard about, and it was very hard to get a job. But, it is now really busy, there are lots of projects going and in the pipeline and there is a massive shortage of engineers!

      It’s getting better and growing, I think the government are keen to support it because it’s really good for the UK economy. Also people are achieving more by updating with new machinery, more “lean” (efficient) processes, bring in new technology like 3D printing, so I think the Engineering Industry will be exciting into the future as we will be able to make more and more complex and useful things.
