      Yes.
      Projects go wrong all the time, because you are coming up with new things and humans get things wrong. A really important job as an engineer is to find and fix the problems early, before it goes to Production. I had one project where a supplier wasn’t fitting power cable connectors the right way round, and so the first 5 machines we made caught fire. But because we were making test machines before we went to full production, it was OK and we got it fixed quickly. I’ve had an issue where a bracket rubbed on a catch that we didn’t find until after Production launch, and that was way, way harder to fix. When it happens it is a tricky part of the job, because you have to be professional, admit you made a mistake, and solve it as fast as you can.
