      Yes definitely!

I took apart my coffee machine because it wasn’t as intelligent as I wanted it to be. I attached my Raspberry Pi and a few electronic items as well and totally transformed it.

By the way I am not a programmer or electronics guru (sadly) but by coming up with an idea and mostly looking online you can find advice and guidance on how to do things like the above! Its very very simple, honestly

I don’t really have space to have things lying around. I’m more the type to be like…”there are way too many shoes on the floor, we need to fix this problem”. So I then assess where I have some unused space in the flat, and buy a wall mounted shoe storage box from Ikea to keep things tidy. Problem solved! (I suppose I could have made the box myself, but like I said, no space to keep things lying around until I find a use for them!)

Yes, I like doing this. At the moment we just moved to a new factory and in the Design dept. we had a choice of spending our budget on pre-made furniture, or keeping it for materials. So we bought a load of scaffolding poles and fittings and we’re making the furniture ourselves and working together discussing exactly what we need. I particularly like the standing-height benches near the windows so we can work on little bits and pieces and stretch legs
