      I hope that I can share my experience(s) from leaving college and getting involved in engineering. One day perhaps I will be an inspirational figure but I will let others decide this!!

      I think engineers are normally behind the scenes a bit, we are the hidden profession that makes everything work properly. People tend to confuse engineers with inventors and say that inventing a new thing is inspirational – I agree, but engineering is only sometimes about inventing, it is normally about taking a new technology and bringing it to thousands of people, helping achieve more with it. I hope one day people will see that as inspirational.
