      It was a piece of software that activated on a hand held device when an engineer was called out, out of hours.

      It tracked their activity in real time and if in-activity was detected or a major movement (determined by the accelerometer) happened then a person in our 24 hour call centre was alerted. The data fed into a huge map and had contact details of engineers, their proposed route and work to be undertaken.

      Also if they spotted something dangerous on site they pressed a button and it flagged their location, a text input and photo capture to upload the situation and then was broadcast to all the other engineers devices to make them aware.
